    Qualifications

    Membership is limited to individuals who meet one of the following criteria:

    1. are currently on the staff of an accredited museum or educational institution and are in some way responsible for the curation of its mineralogical, gemological and/or petrological collections
    2. are retired from a position described under (1)
    3. are affiliated with an accredited museum or educational institution in an advisory or volunteer curatorial capacity relative to its mineralogical, gemological, and/or petrological collections
    4. are approved for membership by the Board

    APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

    Applicants should email the information below to the Secretary Office. Follow the link below for paying the $10 annual membership dues.

    Dues

    Annual membership dues are $10.00 per person. Dues are due by the end of the previous calendar year, and are payable to the Treasurer.

    There are two payment options:

    1. Remit dues to the SMMP Treasurer, preferably in the form of a check payable to SMMP:
